Beauty Photography on Polaroid
Polaroid images can look nice. It is just that you need to be more careful with it and also have some luck. The luck is related to how the poor quality chemicals of your Polaroid film are going to react and render colors based on how the pack feels that day, the color temperatures, the temperature of the environment and things like that.
I am currently using a SX-70 Polaroid camera for a bunch of reasons:
1: The lens quality is “better” as it is made from glass and not cheap plastic like most of Polaroid cameras.
2: It is compact and pretty.
3: It has a maxim aperture of F/8.0
Below you can some beauty and portrait photography I have done recently using this camera.
First beauty photo is a picture of Dasha Gold. You can find her walking the runway for New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, … For lighting I used constant lighting from Nanlite.
Or take a look at this one. This is Wemi. You can find her in Skin Care and Beauty Products ads. Right now if you go to a RiteAid, her picture is there for CoverGirl cosmetics.
